Hello! To those of you that knew this shop as Passport Cover Sky Girl, welcome to my/our new venture, The Salty Boot! Along with my now husband, Neil, we are teaming up to bring you fun, unique items. Neil is a craftsman by trade with a dedicated woodworking background. He's skills with the saw is undeniable. (Where are the Hamilton lovers at?!) And I with a new found love of aviation as a private pilot hoping to create more female pilot creations. I started my shop in June of 2011 after a long search for a passport cover. Why "The Salty Boot"? Well, we were out on the Washington Coast one day and saw that old boot that's in our cover photo, full of sea life and Neil says, in a pirate accent, "Aye, there be me boot. Tis a bit salty now." And the name The Salty Boot was born. We knew that one day we wanted to name our shop that, and here we are.

Your purchase also helps to support TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) survivors of which Neil is one. In his free time he works with other TBI survivors, supporting & mentoring them.
